My wife is not the kind of person who is going to use her blog as a medium to toot her own horn and talk about how great she is, so I guess I am going to have to do it for her. This morning Monica completed her first marathon. She has had multiple knee surgeries from a freak hair curling accident in high school. That is not a joke. She ruined her knee curling her hair. Seriously. Any how, she is not supposed to do things like run marathons. Never being one to let common sense get in her way, she decided a few months ago that she was going to do this. I have to admit, I had my doubts, not about her ability, but about her knees. I did not think they would hold up or let her finish the race. This morning at 10:10 am with Taylor and Emma cheering her on, Monica crossed the finish line of the Ogden Marathon with a time of 3 hours and 10 minutes. I missed it because a certain little boy has a bladder the size of a grape. I have never been more proud of her. Great Job sweetheart. You are truly amazing and I love you!!!
